About Me
My own experience of acupuncture led me to become an acupuncturist. I sought its therapeutic properties to help with a debilitating lower back condition I had been suffering with. Acupuncture left me feeling like a new person, pain free and really well in myself. From that point onwards I was an advocate for acupuncture.
I studied acupuncture at the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, completing a licentiate and a BSc degree in acupuncture.
Through my clinical practice, I have found a passion for treating women’s health issues and this is now the main focus of my practice. During the four years I practiced as an associate at Hannah Pearn's Don't Tell Me to Relax fertility acupuncture clinic in London, I completed additional studies to further my knowledge in these areas:
Post Graduate Diploma in Gynaecology, Fertility and Obstetrics
Advanced Level Diploma in reproductive immunology, hormonal issues, complex diseases in pregnancy and artificial reproductive techniques (IVF)
I am a member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network and belong to a community of advanced level practitioners who specialise in women's health issues.
As well as being fully insured, I am a member of The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the UK’s leading self-regulatory body for the practice of traditional acupuncture and adhere to their code of professional conduct and safe practice.
